My First Guest Post! Yaaaaaayyyyy!!!

Thanks to the wonderfully amazing blogger John Guillen, I finally got the chance to write my first guest post (fine – I paid him, but who cares about the semantics?) .

You can find it here, basically it’s all about slitting wrists, woefully overdramatic behaviour, ridiculous notions of fame and fortune, you know, the general, pivotally relevant stuff I am all about.

I hope you give it a try! πŸ™‚

What a brilliant piece of writing . Mituri I am honestly and thoroughly inspired by you right now . Those words were just so outspoken straight from the heart of a true writer . In all the frustration and unfairness that surrounds a writers life , those were like the words every writer would scream out to this world . Bravo girl !!!!!!

Oh Wow!!! I am so happy I was able to strike a chord with other GREAT writers such as yourself πŸ™‚ Seriously, thank you for the kind and most importantly motivational message, it is so very appreciated!

Haha! So good to hear from you! It has been quite long, at least in my overdramatised head πŸ˜› I’m glad you liked it, I can see from your writing that it is much the same for you. At least I think so.

I’m tempted sometimes to go through my blog and separate the ‘mature content’ from the rest, and then have two blogs. But it feels like splitting myself in two. It’s the same with publishing under a pen name – there are are two parts to your identity when there should only be one.

Being me, I do everything wrong. Thus I languish in obscuriy, very under-appreciated and with a hyper-inflated sense of my own ability… πŸ™‚

But I write anyway, and get depressed whenever life gets in the way of writing…

I would honestly have to say that this line – “Being me, I do everything wrong. Thus I languish in obscurity, very under-appreciated and with a hyper-inflated sense of my own ability… :-)” is highly incorrect and a complete misconstruction!!!

I have read your writing and I seriously have to say you are one of those rare gems! You know the type, someone whose writing ability is so endearing and is so immersed with “lessons” other writers can learn from regardless of whether the genre is one they enjoy or not!

I wasn’t fishing for compliments, but I thank you and won’t argue. I will say that I write best when my frustration with the world puts me into a perverse state of mind…

Oh, completely agree. My best work is always when I am extremely agitated at anything and anyone on the planet. Sometimes, anger really is good or the soul! Plus, you’re very welcome πŸ™‚
