My dad passed this along to me over the weekend and now I have permanently bookmarked the page on my phone for every single time I’m asked the loaded question!

It’s only been used a couple of hundred times so far 😀

    I love this! Because it happens to me all the time! I’ll just say I’m from Houston and then they insist on asking where I’m FROM. And honestly, I don’t even know of any of my family who was born in Mexico. I imagine I’d have to go WAYYYYY back in my family line. Which leaves the moral of the story as I’m as American as any other person who doesn’t have brown skin. 👍

      Not sure what anyone wants to hear when they ask me. Born in the UK, lived in Saudi Arabia, India and then Australia so not sure what that makes me. A confused juxtaposition of cells.
