Be the Change You want to See – Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

I tried this the entire day today; I lay on my back looking up at the heavens and saw, in my mind’s eye, that it was Saturday instead of Monday. I was being the change that I wanted to see.

My boss came to me and needless to say, he was not impressed. Turned out he couldn’t see the change I was being.

I think we need a mandate to make quotes come with guidelines and disclaimers attached.

Let’s just have a referendum, it’s not like Australia needs much convincing for one of those, right Turnball?

It’s a beautiful world …

I went to the city over the weekend, taking my grandparents around Circular Quay and the gorgeous coat-hanger (Harbour Bridge), the famous Opera House and the Rocks.

Isn’t it funny how you often overlook what people spend thousands of dollars and travel across the world to see when it’s in your backyard?

There are so many gems Mother Nature has tucked away for us to enjoy but we’re too obsessed about taking that perfect selfie -_-

Remember to enjoy what’s around you guys because contrary to popular belief, that is a lot more precious than those pair of Louis Vuitton’s you’ve been saving up for!

I have been a very good girl today.

Woke up at 6:30 am and went for a walk in the rain and mist. Now it’s time for all of you to congratulate me on my superb achievement please 😛

On a more serious note, or at least as serious as I can be, there is something wonderfully romantic about walking in the fog and rain, wouldn’t you agree? Especially early in the morning, reminds you how lucky and amazing it is to be alive.

Have a wonderful weekend my beautiful peeps 🙂

I’ve been through at least 20 trees over the weekend by way of facial tissues -_-

I am utterly embarrassed and seriously disappointed with my recycling stance over the past forty eight hours but it was either that or my family wading through an ocean of nasal secretion I would rather not get into courtesy the flu.

Now that I have adequately grossed each and everyone of my followers out, I apologise profusely.

See you around guys and have I mentioned I am sorry for the mental picture. Clearly imagination can have its bad side as well.

Because it has recently been alleged by some here (no names being mentioned … cough, cough, Raman 😛 ) that I am slightly over zealous when it comes to the weekend, I am just going to politely, in passing of course, note how I am potentially pleased with the idea of the weekend commencing tomorrow.

Now if you’ll excuse me while I proceed to go yell it out to everyone on my street just in case someone has forgotten about it 😉
